IKran

The import of finished DY knuckle boom cranes will be maintained. Consequently, the Russian market will see these cranes divided into two main groups. Cranes manufactured in South Korea will be designated with the SS model prefix, while those made in Russia will carry the RS designation.

Production of the RS series cranes is organized at the assembly plant of LLC "IKran", located in Naberezhnye Chelny. Initially, assembly will rely entirely on Korean components, with a gradual transition to incorporating Russian suppliers. The finished knuckle boom cranes are also tested at this facility.

Knuckle boom cranes produced by the Russian enterprise are authorized to bear the DY logo. This trademark can also be used in the accompanying documentation, catalogs, and technical data sheets. Furthermore, upon obtaining the national conformity certificate, DY knuckle boom cranes manufactured in Russia will be fitted with nameplates designating LLC "IKran" as the manufacturer and Russia as the country of origin.

The quality policy implemented by LLC "IKran" for its loader crane production is identical to that of DY. Specifically, experts from the Korean company conduct regular visits to the production facility in Russia, providing technical guidance as needed and offering additional technical support. The quality of DY knuckle boom cranes produced in Russia will be in no way inferior to those manufactured in South Korea.

Operations at the Russian DY plant commenced with the assembly of three of the most in-demand loader crane models: the RS 1926II with a 7-ton lifting capacity, the RS 1956 ACE with an 8-ton lifting capacity, and the RS 1966 ACE with a 9-ton lifting capacity.

Over time, LLC "IKran" plans to progress from large-unit assembly using imported components to fully localized production. The first step in this direction is the in-house manufacturing of crane metal structures. Furthermore, "IKran" intends to involve other Russian manufacturers in the production and supply of components for the knuckle boom cranes.

In terms of technical specifications, quality, and equipment, the Russian-made knuckle boom cranes will be identical to their Korean-produced counterparts. Currently, crane assembly takes place at the "SPM" plant site. However, production is scheduled to be moved to a dedicated facility in the second half of 2025.

All DY knuckle boom cranes manufactured in Russia undergo mandatory factory testing before being shipped to customers. Production planning ensures a continuous inventory of approximately twenty units is maintained at the finished goods warehouse, excluding stocks held by dealers. From this production warehouse, the cranes are distributed to DY's active dealers across Russia. Additionally, DY has opened a spare parts warehouse in Naberezhnye Chelny, ensuring stable after-sales service for DY knuckle boom cranes for Russian customers.
